May is Older American’s Month. In observance of this special month we at Swiss Village celebrated National Nursing Home Week May 10 – May 16, 2015. This past week was full of fun activities for our nursing care residents. Early in the week the residents participated in a fashion show with the children from Kinder Haus and finished the week up with a celebration lunch with staff and residents.
The staff at Swiss Village was excited to celebrate this special week with our residents. It is our residents that we love so much that make coming to work each day a joy.
National Nursing Home Week is an annual observance sponsored nationally by the American Health Care Association, based in Washington, D.C.
