Patty Habegger has been named Director of Food Service. Habegger has 30 years of experience at Swiss Village in the Dietary department and currently serves as Assistant Director of Food Service. She will begin her new position January 1, 2019.
“Swiss Village is very fortunate to have someone like Patty with 30 years’ experience and a wealth of knowledge to lead the department,” said Cris Morreale, Vice President of Operations. “Over the years, she has built a strong rapport with many in the department and throughout the Swiss Village community. We look forward to her leadership and continued camaraderie as she advances her career with us. We are truly fortunate to have her in this role!”
“I am eager to take on this challenge of my new role as Director of Food Service at Swiss Village,” said Patty Habegger. “I have been overwhelmed by the words of encouragement from my Dietary staff, coworkers in other departments, and our residents. It means so much to me to know I have the support of everyone and makes me excited to do great things for our department and facility. When I started at Swiss Village as a teenager, I had no intentions of long-term employment. I simply needed a job and the door opened here. I quickly came to find out that when you are an employee at Swiss Village, you become part of a family. 30 years later, I am still working with some of the same ‘family’ that were here when I started. I am truly blessed.”
Habegger has been married three years to her biggest supporter, Troy, a Sergeant for the Adams County Sheriff’s Department. Her stepdaughter, Faith, is a sophomore at Bellmont High School. Habegger enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, watching sports, and spending time outdoors.
