Swiss Village has named Ruthann Perry, RN as the new Assistant Director of Nursing. Ruthann began her employment at Swiss Village on September 18. Ruthann has 13 years of experience working in healthcare, with six of those years in long-term care. Formerly, Ruthann worked as Director of Nursing for two different long-term healthcare facilities, as well as worked for hospice and home healthcare.
“I am looking forward to being part of this team as we make a positive impact on the lives of our resident and their families,” said Ruthann.
Ruthann has two children, her daughter works as a certified nursing assistant at Swiss Village and her son, who is still in school, enjoys playing every sport that is offered. “I enjoy spending time with my children riding horses, camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors.”
“We are delighted to have Ruthann join Swiss Village as the new Assistant Director of Nursing,” stated Alma Ahmetovic, VP of Healthcare Services for Swiss Village. “She will be a great addition to our management team.”
Michael Secaur, CDM, CFPP has been named Director of Food Service. Michael comes to Swiss Village with 20 years of experience in healthcare food service. Michael has worked in the long-term care industry and most recently worked for a large hospital system.
“Michael brings many years of great dietary production and management experience,” stated Derick Bailey, VP of Operations at Swiss Village. “We believe his passion for this work and emphasis on teamwork will be valuable in moving the dietary department continually forward.”
“As the new Food Service Director, I look forward to growing with an already talented team,” said Michael.
Michael has been married to his wife Barbara for 21 years. Together they have two children and one granddaughter. Michael is a Colts fan, loves Chevy Camaros, and food. Michael will begin his work at Swiss Village on October 16, 2017.
