For individuals looking for a career in geriatric health care, getting trained to become a Certified Nursing Assistant is a great way to start. We offer C.N.A. classes four times a year, typically in February, May, August, and November. Classes are taught by Janelle Gresla, RN, MSN and are held in Decatur. Candidates are selected for the course after completing the interview process with Margie Dougherty, Director of Human Resources. We do not send more people to attend the class than we have actual openings for nursing assistants.
