At Swiss Village, there are about 130 residents in the health care area, which includes Alpenrose Place, Sonnenblum Place, Lavendel Place, and Edelweiss Place. Semi-private rooms and private rooms are available. The rooms are connected to bathrooms and range in size from 200 square feet to 380 square feet.

Alpenrose Place is a unique health care setting within Swiss Village that is dedicated to making a constructive difference in the lives of those who have a memory loss. It is specifically designed and staffed for residents who have functional limitations resulting from Alzheimer's Disease or other disorders that impair memory. Alpenrose Place is a secured environment that is well supervised with a high staff to resident ratio. While acknowledging the progressive nature of Alzheimer's and other memory loss diseases, the staff is committed to the preservation of the personal dignity of each resident and to providing life engaging opportunities for them for as long as possible.

Qualified nurses are on duty 24-hours a day and visitors are welcome at any time. Our competitive daily rates include three meals a day, utilities, laundry services, required nursing services. All rooms have telephone and television hook-ups and some are equipped for computer Internet access. A variety of daily activities are available based on the individual's needs, ability levels and interest, the activity program is designed to contribute to the objectives of total resident care.

Swiss Village encourages health care residents to bring personal belongings such as pictures for the bulletin boards, flowers, knick-knacks, or even a favorite chair to help make their short-term or long-term stay reminiscent of home.
