Swiss Village Retirement Community Assisted Living

Swiss Village Retirement Community began an expansion project to create Blumengarten, a new Assisted Living Wing in May of 2009. Blumengarten serves the growing number of clientele that require increased supportive services. The facilities and programming provide an enriched level of service that is intended to delay the need for nursing care. Swiss Village residents began occupying Blumengarten on July 21, 2010.

Apartments range in size from 475 sq feet to 750 sq feet. Services that are provided to assisted living residents include assistance with bathing, medication management, personal laundry, scheduled activities, meals, and weekly housekeeping.

“The residents really like the atmosphere of Blumengarten,” said Rhonda Hofstetter, Swiss Village Charge Nurse. “We are able to provide more activities and services. Overall, Blumengarten is pleasant environment for our residents to live.”
